If you have resources for materials that can help make/ bulid DIY Bass Traps and Acoustic Panels in your country/ city, please post them here. We'll create a larger list for all to search and use.

Your contribution to this section is incredibly important to the group. If you have something you've used, used again, or have heard about that can be used to make DIY traps, post your info here.

Folks will love you for it.

Thanks,

I have been searching for acoustic materials for bass traps and the like here in the UK. Corning 703 is not really available over here but Rockwool makes a very near equivalent called RW3. The easiest and, so far, the cheapest place to get it is from studiospares www.studiospares.com

UK

Just done a complete studio build and got most of my bits through these guys. I'm based in London - I think they are in hampshire.

www.makingwavesaudio.com

Extremely helpful and did me an unbeatable deal on my soundproofing and treatment materials. Website not the easiest to navigate so get them on the phone 01962 884266

I'm off to make some music!  Grin

Very cool.

It may be helpful to list the products, (rock wool, Knauf, mineral fiber, type of fabric and framing, if any) that you purchased from them. Also, listing costs for each will help as well.

Thank you!
